A magnetic photo holder, perfect for his office.I hope my Blackbird shop is in the perfect location to sell gifts. It's right outside Heathcote Valley Primary School on Station Road, so it's an easy shop for mums to visit when they're picking up their little ones. But what about for Father's Day?

Whenever I take a look around my stock, the thought that it's quite hard to get guy's stuff is not far behind. On dad's big day, that's a  problem!

I'm quite a girly shop, but it's for blokes too. So for Father's Day I've got some fun, superhero card wallets, you just put a couple of cards in each side and they don't cost much because I made those. Some people have suggested soap would be good for guys, maybe after a game on the rugby field. I've got one soap in particular for guys called Warlock's Block, which is just a bit more masculine. I've also found some shower mittens, handmade in Christchurch.

A tea towel for him to use in the kitchen!I've got some funny tea towels too. That would be a good idea to give to guys, wouldn't it? Get them out of the habit of breakfast in bed and sleeping in the kitchen! On the same note there are some aprons, which are always popular. If you don't think he would use them, there are plenty of gifts for a guy to hang on his wall. Some retro styled pictures of radios and gramaphones, or maybe some clever magnetic photo holders so he can show off his family at the office.

I have to admit, Blackbird is a really girly shop, but when you look there's gifts for guys too. Come and visit for Father's Day, or if you are a girly, maybe buy something for yourself!
